CWS Super Regional Betting Lines + Predictions
Here are betting lines for each of this weekend's college baseball super regionals, plus a few predictions and best bets. Each super regional is a best-of-three series.
Evansville (38-24) at No. 1 Tennessee (53-11)
- Series odds: Tennessee -1400 | Evansville +800
- Game 1 Friday 3 p.m. ET ESPN 2
The Volunteers enter as a massive favorite, but Evansville already shocked college baseball fans by winning its regional. Tennessee is loaded, with Christian Moore leading the way with a .378 batting average, 29 home runs, and 67 RBIs. The Purple Ace's pitching staff has its hands full trying to slow down Tennessee.
UConn (35-24) at No. 8 Florida St. (45-15)
- Series odds: FSU -330 | UConn +255
- Game 1 Friday noon ET ESPN
The Huskies played solid baseball to earn a spot in the Tallahassee super regional. Florida State, though, possesses a potent lineup. James Tibbs III is having a historic season for the Seminoles, hitting .362 with 25 home runs and a staggering 84 RBIs.
Kansas St. (35-24) at No. 12 Virginia (44-15)
- Series odds: Virginia -230 | Kansas State +185
- Game 1 Friday 7 p.m. ET ESPNU
One of the more evenly-matched super regionals is Kansas State at Virginia. Neither boasts a huge run-producing lineup and depends on its stout pitching staff. Evan Blanco will surely get a start this weekend, likely in Game 1. With his 3.57 ERA and 86 strikeouts, he could single-handedly win one game for the Cavaliers.
West Virginia (36-22) at No. 4 North Carolina (45-14)
- Series odds: UNC -220 | West Virginia +180
- Game 1 Friday 6 p.m. ET ESPN 2
West Virginia makes its first super regional appearance in program history but won't have an easy matchup against national power North Carolina. The Tar Heels have multiple players with 60+ RBIs and three pitchers with ERAs at or under 4.00, along with 55+ strikeouts.
No. 15 Oregon St. (45-14) at No. 2 Kentucky (43-14)
- Series odds: Kentucky -140 | Oregon State +110
- Game 1 Saturday 6 p.m. ET ESPNU
Kentucky benefits from hosting against Oregon State, but the Beavers are one of the hottest teams in the country. They won three straight in their regional, scoring 10 or more runs in two of their three games. They also have Jacob Kmatz as a shutdown starter with a 3.29 ERA and 88 strikeouts this season.
No. 10 NC State (36-20) at No. 7 Georgia (42-15)
- Series odds: Georgia -150 | NC State +120
- Game 1 Saturday noon ET ESPNU
Georgia probably has the most feared hitter in college baseball in Charlie Condon. Not only does he lead the country with 36 home runs, but he hits for average, too, batting .445 with a .566 on-base percentage. Georgia's pitching staff has some holes, though, and for NC State to pull off an upset, the Wolfpack might need to do it in some high-scoring games.
Florida (32-28) at No. 6 Clemson (44-14)
- Series odds: Clemson -165 | Florida +135
- Game 1 Saturday 2 p.m. ET ESPN
A showdown between two of college baseball's best programs, Florida and Clemson, will be a treat. The Tigers have more depth, but the Gators have the best player in the series: Jac Caglianone, who hit .410 with 31 home runs and 63 RBIs this season.
Oregon (40-18) at No. 3 Texas A&M (47-13)
- Series odds: Texas A&M -320 | Oregon +250
- Game 1 Saturday 2 p.m. ET ESPN 2
The Aggies won three in a row to cruise through their regional, but Oregon won't be an easy out. Saturday's Game 1 pitching matchup between the Ducks' Grayson Grinsell (97 K's, 3.82 ERA) and the Aggies' Ryan Prager (113 K's, 2.53 ERA) will be one of the best matchups of the super regional weekend.
