Giants GM's son stirs up NFL Draft rumors with cryptic post image

The first round of the 2025 NFL Draft begins on Thursday, and rumors are flying wild one day before. With the Tennessee Titans essentially locked in to select Miami (FL) quarterback Cam Ward, the board begins at No. 2 with the Cleveland Browns and then the New York Giants at No. 3.

Both teams have been fielding trade calls, and with players such as Penn State EDGE Abdul Carter and Colorado two-star star Travis Hunter available, it makes sense as to why they are receiving calls.

The Giants are one of the more polarizing teams this year, especially after they signed Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston to add to the QB room this offseason.

Colorado QB Shedeur Sanders, Alabama QB Jalen Milroe, and Ole Miss QB Jaxson Dart are a few signal-callers who have been linked to the Giants.

Well, on Wednesday night, the son of Joe Schoen - the Giants GM - stirred the pot with a cryptic social media post.

Conner Schoen posted a clip of Dart on his Instagram reel.

Does the son of the Giants GM know something? perhaps. Furthermore, NFL.com expert Daniel Jeremiah had the Giants trading up to select Dart in his latest mock draft on Wednesday night, so do with that as you want.

After all, the Giants did select former Ole Miss QB Eli Manning, so there is that connection. In recent weeks, Dart has been flying up draft boards, and the Giants could land a top-tier player such as Carter or Hunter and wait to get Dart later in the first round.

It could be nothing. It could something. Or, it could be a giant smokescreen on the eve of the NFL Draft.
