Tennis betting lines

Most tennis betting sites offer the following standard betting markets.

  • Futures/outrights: Tennis futures and outrights are where you bet players to win an event. For Grand Slam events, the futures markets are open all year long. Categorically speaking, futures markets become outrights when an event starts. Regardless, you place your bets at the currently posted odds on each player. Most odds are longer the further away from the event, even for the favorites. The odds will change based on a player's chances of winning, so they shorten as a player progresses through a tournament.
  • Handicaps: This is tennis betting with a game spread.
  • Moneylines: Simply bet on match winners.
  • Set betting: Bet on the set-to-set score of a match.
  • To win first set: Wager on who will win the first set.
  • Props: Bet on player stats in a match or an event.
  • Tiebreaker: This is where you bet on whether a match will include a tiebreaker.

Live tennis betting lines

You can gamble on live matches at the top tennis betting sites. The betting options are mostly the same as before a match, with odds that change alongside the action on the court. However, set, game, and point markets are also available live.

The best sports betting apps are those you download to your phone or tablet, such as BetMGM or FanDuel. They are the best options for keeping up with the ever-changing odds.
