The Pittsburgh Pirates won their second straight game on Wednesday night against the Los Angeles Angels. Pirates starter Andrew Heaney, a former Angel, threw six scoreless innings and gave up just one hit to get the win, 3-0, at Angel Stadium.

O'Neil Cruz had a massive home run to deep center in the fifth inning, and Tommy Pham added an insurance run in the top of the ninth via a single.

Speaking of Pham, the veteran outfielder was involved in an incident in the bottom half of the fifth inning. Pham fielded a ball in the left field corner and was touched by a fan reaching over the wall.

Pham proceeded to throw an angry look towards the fan before going back to his position in left field. Shortly after, Pham directed an obscene gesture toward the fan.

Pham is no stranger to being involved in incidents with fans.

In 2024, Pham got into a verbal altercation with a fan during a game between the Chicago White Sox and Milwaukee Brewers. Pham was also seen wearing a batting glove on his throwing hand earlier this season, so the veteran outfielder always seems to find himself in headlines, although this latest gesture has quickly circulated the internet.
