While families gather throughout the week for holiday celebrations, college basketball tournaments will take place around the country as non-conference action continues.

Some of the nation's best men's basketball teams will travel to Las Vegas for the Players Era Festival. Houston and Alabama are the headliners in this year's field, but ranked squads like Texas A&M and Creighton will also be looking to leave "Sin City" with the title.

The eight participating teams will be split into two groups: the Impact Group and Power Group. Alabama, Houston, Notre Dame and Rutgers will start in the Impact Group, while Creighton, Oregon, San Diego State and Texas A&M will be part of the Power Group.

After the group stage, teams will be seeded by overall record ahead of a four-game slate on Saturday.

The Sporting News has all the details on how to watch the Players Era Festival.
