Canisius hosts No. 4 Michigan State for a pair of men's college hockey games this weekend, airing on FloSports. 

The Spartans (3-1) last took the ice on Saturday, defeating Windsor (Ont.) in an exhibition match, 5-0. 

Junior forwards Isaac Howard (seven points) and Daniel Russell (five points) pace Michigan State. They are tied for the team lead with three goals apiece.

The Golden Griffins (1-4) notched their first victory of the young season on Tuesday, with a 6-3 rout of Mercyhurst. 

Six different skaters notched a goal for Canisius, including junior forward Grant Porter, who leads the team with three goals on the season.

Michigan State vs. Canisius will not air on national television this weekend. Instead, both games can be streamed live with FloCollege.

Michigan State vs. Canisius start time

  • Date: Friday, Oct. 25 and Saturday, Oct. 26
  • Time: 7 p.m. ET 

The first game of the two-game series between Michigan State and Canisius will occur at 7 p.m. ET on Friday, Oct. 25. 

The next game will begin at the same time on the ensuing day, Saturday, Oct. 26. 

Both games will be played at the LECOM Harborcenter in Buffalo, N.Y.
