The Kansas City Chiefs have a chance at history.

Kansas City will face off against the Philadelphia Eagles in the Super Bowl on Sunday, Feb. 9 with a chance to win its third straight Super Bowl title. The Chiefs took down the Eagles in 2023 and then the San Francisco 49ers in 2024. Now, they will try to defeat the Eagles once more.

After the game ends, soon enough, free agency will be here. It will kick off in March and the team has some key pieces heading to free agency. Here are three players who could be gearing up for their final game with the Chiefs.

Trey Smith - Guard
Smith has spent his entire four-year NFL career with the Chiefs so far. He was a Pro Bowler in 2024 and is going to be one of the best overall free agents on the open market. Any team with a need on the offensive line could use him and it wouldn't be a shock to see a team hand him a larger deal than the Chiefs are willing to offer.

DeAndre Hopkins - Wide Receiver
Hopkins was acquired by the Chiefs in a trade with the Tennessee Titans. He will be a free agent at the end of the season he's another guy who may land a bigger deal elsewhere even at 32 years old.

JuJu Smith-Schuster - Wide Receiver
This is his second stint with the Chiefs and he'll be a free agent again this offseason. He had 231 receiving yards throughout the regular season. It wouldn't be a shock if Kansas City went in a different direction.
