January is one of the most interesting times of the year for football fans, as rumours circulate and favourite clubs sign brand new favourite players.
Similarly, FIFA gamers also enjoy the winter window as it brings change to the video game they have been playing for the last few months, with FIFA Ultimate Team given a new lease of life thanks to the January transfer updates.
The transfer of new players to new clubs and new leagues also means that Squad Building Challenges in FIFA 18 now have more options and should be slightly cheaper to complete over the coming months.
When are the transferred players added?
As some FIFA 18 gamers may have noticed, some of the transferred players are already at their new clubs in the FIFA Ultimate Team database. Throughout the month of January, and for the first few weeks of February, EA Sports will continue to release updates to the database (and the Online Seasons database) with each and every single transfer.
These transfer updates come in batches, so it may take a week or more for players to be moved to their new clubs in the game. This is particularly true of some of the lesser names in the game, although Adrien Silva still remained a Porto player in mid-January but Philippe Coutinho had already been moved to Barcelona.
Do not worry, all the transfers will be completed in January or February as EA Sports updates 100s or 1000s of players who find themselves a new club.
Which players have been transferred?
EA Sports releases updates to the FIFA 18 database every few days and, with this, adds new transferred players each time. Below is a list of all the gold players (75 rated and above) who have already been assigned to their new clubs.
This list is separate to the list of Winter Upgrades known as the Ratings Refresh , where some players will also get a boost to their overall rating.
