Expert prop pick for MNF: Backing Chiefs WR DeAndre Hopkins

NFL betting analyst Tony Mejia has the Chiefs' recently-acquired wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins circled in prop betting markets tonight.

"Patrick Mahomes comes off throwing multiple TD passes against the Raiders for the first time since Week 3," Tony points out. "With Juju Smith-Schuster sidelined again, the Chiefs need their MVP to continue spreading the ball around effectively against a Bucs pass defense that ranks 30th among 32 teams in passing yards allowed per game (255.4).

"Travis Kelce scored for the first time this season and had 10 catches for the first time in '24, picking up 90 yards on 12 targets. Because Kelce and rookie burner Xavier Worthy should command so much of Tampa Bay's attention, this may be a great spot to ride with DeAndre Hopkins, who has a chance to be heavily involved in the Kansas City game plan after debuting last week since being acquired from Tennessee, making two grabs on three targets for 29 yards.

"A full week of practice will make him more effective, and prop numbers of 3.5 receptions and 44.5 yards look very attainable. Hopkins is +170 to reach the end zone at any point in Monday night’s contest."

Popular NFL bets at BetMGM for Bucs vs. Chiefs on MNF
