The Houston Texans travel to Indianapolis for a Week 18 matchup with the Colts on Saturday night. The winner makes the playoffs, and the loser goes home.

Recent play by each team is likely why the Texans overtook the Colts as slight favorites in early wagering, despite being on the road. Current Texans vs. Colts odds have Houston as favorites, while Indianapolis can be had for on the moneyline. The OVER/UNDER total is .

Both teams were pleasant surprises this year, given their circumstances, and stand to scare a contender if they get in. The Colts narrowly escaped the Las Vegas Raiders last weekend, while the Texans dominated the Tennessee Titans.

NFL fans should buckle up because they are in for a good one.

Texans vs. Colts odds: Point spread, moneyline, total for NFL Week 18 matchup

Here are the latest Texans vs. Colts odds from the top sports betting sites nationwide.

The Texans’ rookie phenom QB CJ Stroud returned from his two-game hiatus last week, and Houston looked completely different on offense. He’ll look to keep the magic against a defense that has allowed 803 passing yards and five touchdowns to Jake Browning, Taylor Heinicke, and Aidan O’Connell in three of the last four weeks.

They’ll need Stroud to turn in a prime performance because their defense may not be the same.

The Texans’ entire starting defensive line is either questionable or out. Without at least two of them at a decent capacity, the Colts offense could also be in for a big offensive performance.

The Texans have allowed the seventh-most passing touchdowns in the league, which could have an impact on this one without a running game to drain the clock.

In the first game between the two, the Colts were forced to turn to Gardner Minshew due to an injury to Anthony Richardson (not season-ending at the time). During his time on the field against the Texans, Minshew connected on 19 of his 23 passes for 171 yards and a touchdown.

However, the Colts have their ailments as well. Three of their starting offensive linemen are questionable, which helps level the playing field.

This one is up in the air and should be an entertaining finale for both teams’ seasons.

Texans vs. Colts predictions

Even with the injuries, the Texans defense has been pressuring the QB more effectively over the last few weeks.

Getting to Minshew against an injury-riddled offensive line for the Colts and having Stroud under center should be enough for the young Texans team to pull off the win on the road.

Prediction: Texans
