The Los Angeles Clippers and James Harden know what they're in for with a series against the Denver Nuggets on the docket.

Harden spoke with NBA analyst Rachel Nichols ahead of the round one series and was asked if Denver big man Nikola Jokic is the best player in the world. He didn't hesitate.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah," the veteran guard responded with confidence.

He went on to laud Jokic for being the "engine of the entire team" and emphasized how much of an impact he has on every facet of the game.

Harden also referenced the MVP race, saying he understands why Shai Gilgeous-Alexander should win the award based on his team's record and the OKC star's prolific scoring.

But Harden, an MVP himself, highlighted Jokic's all-around game as the reason why he's the best in the world.
