'I’d risk it all': LeBron James’ son Bryce honors brother with striking new ink image

The presumed heir to the hardwood throne just made a powerful and deeply personal statement in ink. Bryce James, the youngest son of NBA icon LeBron James, revealed a striking new tattoo on his left forearm that reads, “My Brother’s Keeper. For him, I’d risk it all.”

He debuted the design in an Instagram photo posted Thursday with the caption: “🖤 _justbryce,” sending fans into speculation over the heartfelt message.

But this isn’t Bryce’s first time under the needle. At just 16, he shared a video on Instagram as he got his first tattoo –  a crown with the word “Prince” inked across his forearm, a clear nod to his father’s nickname “King James,” and perhaps a hint at his own place in the family legacy.

In 2023, he added a “Hunter x Hunter” spider-inspired tattoo, which many believe is also a message expressing his bond with his brother, and may or may not be related to the popular anime series of the same name.

As descendants of NBA royalty, the James children — including 20-year-old LeBron “Bronny” James Jr., 10-year-old Zhuri Nova, and middle child Bryce — have grown up with the spotlight as familiar as the hardwood. But lately, it’s Bryce who’s stepping into the frame.

Last year, Bronny made history as a second-generation Laker, joining his father on the team after being drafted 55th overall. But with the Lakers out of the playoffs, all eyes are shifting to Bryce, who stands 6-foot-6 and helped lead Sierra Canyon High to a state title — and Athlon Sports has already projected him as one of the top incoming recruits in the Big 12.
