Jarred Cole was victorious on Saturday as he crowned the winner of Week 12 at the Modus Super Series, after defeating Christian Perez in the final to secure a place in Champions Week and winning the weekly title and top prize.

Cole, who entered the finale having finished 2nd in Group C on Thursday and Friday, began the night by winning just one of his two group phase matches, as he firstly suffered a defeat to Christian Perez, before defeating Lewis Gurney to progress through to the Semi Finals, where he then came up against John Henderson, and from there, Cole whitewashed ‘The Highlander’ 4-0 to book his place in the final.

In the decider, Cole came up against Chas Barstow, who’d defeated Christian Perez in the last four, and this time ‘The King of the Castle’ defeated his compatriot, 4-1, to seal the 12th and final place at Series 10 Champions Week, as well as collecting the £5,000 first prize.

The Modus Super Series returns on Monday for the start of Champions Week, with the first of three days of Group A commencing, with the field to be announced in due course. Play will commence from 9:30am BST and will be streamed live on the Modus YouTube channel, Pluto TV or via various bookmaker’ websites worldwide.
