Paige Bueckers shows off 'first day of school' with Dallas Wings, and it's adorable image

Paige Bueckers just showed off her "first day of school' with the Dallas Wings, and it's adorable.

The Dallas Wings kicked off their pre-season practices over the weekend where they took pictures with a chalkboard showing their respective names and seasons like you do on the first day during your grade school years. And while Bueckers may have just been a senior at UConn (where she also helped lead her to team to a national championship), she's now back in rookie/freshman mode, where her teammates are certainly not going to forget.

Written on Buecker's board was her name, her season (year one, obviously), her hometown of Hopkins, Minnesota and her nickname (P). Bueckers smiled brightly in the photo, and there were tons of Wings fans in the comments showing their support: "Paige putting two shades of purple to really let us know 💜," wrote one commenter. "I love lil Paigey 😂" and "YES PAIGE 🔥❤️," were some of the others.

Meanwhile, Bueckers also made a positive impression amongst Kobe Bryant fans last week, when she pulled up to her first preseason activity with the Wings wearing the Kobe 5 "X-Ray" shoes, which were fittingly decked out in a blue and green color matching the Dallas Wings. The history of the Kobe Protro 5 dates back to 2019, drawing inspiration from the minimalistic design associated with soccer cleats. The "X-Ray," in-particular, features a deep royal blue design and a glacier blue upper.

The Dallas Wings kick off the 2025 WNBA season with a matchup against the Storm on May 19.
