The race for the coveted Kelly Cup begins on Wednesday, April 16, with the opening game of the 2025 ECHL playoffs.

Only the top four teams from each ECHL division qualify for the playoffs. The South Carolina Stingrays (109 points), Kansas City Mavericks (103 points), Toledo Walleye (99 points) and Trois-Rivieres Lions (98 points) captured the top seeds.

But don't count out the defending champions. The Florida Everblades (106 points) are in hot pursuit of their fourth consecutive title and fifth overall Kelly Cup.
