In the fourth round of the 2025 NFL Draft, the Denver Broncos selected a pass-rusher for the second round in a row. With the No. 134 overall pick in the draft, the Broncos chose Quandarrius "Que" Robinson.

This pick is similar to the one the Broncos made in round three after trading up to get Sai'vion Jones. Like Jones, Robinson will also be a project player for the Broncos who the team hopes can step in as soon as next season if the team loses anyone in free agency. Zach Allen, John Franklin-Myers and Malcolm Roach are all players who will be looking for contracts next season.

Robinson was a highly-ranked high school recruit in Birmingham, Alabama but an injury set him back and got his colleeg career off to a slow start. He played mostly on special teams before finally becoming a key piece of the Crimson Tide defense this past season.

Perserverance was shown throughout the college career of Robinson but his potential, which has never really been put on display, is the reason he went as high as he did in this draft. The pick will be seen as a reach by the Broncos, something that seems to be a theme with this class, but Broncos Country should trust what George Paton and Sean Payton are building and believe in him turning into an integral piece of the team at a later time.

The Scouting Department at Bleacher Report identified several positives and negatives for Robinson.

Positives

— Good height and length for an NFL edge defender.

— Good get-off and speed to win around the edge.

— Has the change of direction and quickness to effectively turn speed to power and has shown an impressive one-arm stab move that he can win with.

— Flexible ankles and bendy to corner at the top of the rush.

— Good agility to be effective as the looper in line games.

— Effective as a spy, has the athleticism to mirror quarterbacks and plenty of speed to close for sacks or short gains.

Negatives

— Very little playing experience despite being a fifth-year player, especially against the run.

— Lean frame, needs to add size and strength to avoid getting widened when setting the edge or washed inside as a run defender.

— Lacks the strength to shed and get off blocks from offensive linemen.

— Has to make the first significant contact as a pass-rusher or offensive tackles will be able to control him due to his slender frame and lack of strength.

— Struggles to play the hands as a pass-rusher, limiting the moves he can win with.

Robinson is a player who may not be a huge contributor as a rookie, outside of special teams, but if he can make a name for himself there and work himself into the rotation the same way he did at Alabama, the sky could be the limit for him.
