Giants draft picks 2025: Who did New York take? Full list of NFL Draft selections image

The Giants were seen as one of the most interesting teams entering the NFL Draft, as New York is coming off another disappointing season.

However, despite winning just three games last year, Joe Schoen and Brian Daboll are back for a fourth season together and have to put together a strong draft class with their seats hot.

New York was one of several teams entering the draft with a hole at the most important position in the sport — a hole they hoped to have filled with the selection of Jaxson Dart in the first round.

The Giants also selected a potential star on the defensive side of the ball in defensive end Abdul Carter from Penn State.

Here's a look at the Giants' picks.

Giants NFL Draft needs

  • Quarterback: After moving on from Daniel Jones during the 2024 season, the Giants are back in the quarterback market looking for a franchise signal-caller. During the offseason, New York signed Russell Wilson, Jameis Winston, and Tommy DeVito, but none of those players offer a long-term solution at the position. With a top-three pick, the Giants could take a quarterback in the first round, but they might not believe a prospect is worth the high pick, which means New York could instead target a quarterback on day two.
  • Offensive Line: The Giants offensive line has been a work in progress for years now, but it took a step in the right direction as Andrew Thomas and Jermaine Eluemunor settled in at the tackle spots. Now, New York needs to address the interior of the line, specifically right guard, as 35-year-old Greg Van Roten is the current starter at that position.
  • Defensive Line: Dexter Lawrence is a stud, but the rest of the defensive line needs work around him since the group is largely veteran stopgaps.
