Commanders draft picks 2025: Who did Washington take? Full list of NFL Draft selections image

The Washington Commanders are looking to have yet another big NFL Draft class in 2025. Just one year after drafting stars like Jayden Daniels, Luke McCaffrey, and Mike Sainristil, the Commanders brass is looking to build upon last season's success this year.

Coming off of Washington's first playoff season since 2020, the Commanders made it to the NFC Championship last season. Although losing 55-23 to the Eagles was a sour way to end a great season, there's a lot to be excited about with this Washington franchise.

The Sporting News tracked the Commanders’ 2025 NFL Draft selections, from round one to seven.

Commanders NFL Draft needs

  • EDGE rusher: Although the Commanders have gotten some great production along the defensive line with the likes of Daron Payne and Jer'Zhan Newton, they still don't have a star EDGE rusher. Despite being interested in the likes of Joey Bosa, Khalil Mack, and Trey Hendrickson, Washington came up empty in landing an elite pass rusher this offseason.
  • Running back: Brian Robinson Jr. finished with 799 yards rushing last season and led the team with eight touchdowns. But the Commanders could use a running back to further complement Daniels' contributions to the run game in this draft class.
  • Cornerback: Marshon Lattimore is the biggest cornerback on Washington's roster at 6-foot, 190 pounds. The Commanders could use another big-bodied corner to use alongside him, as Sainristil, Jonathan Jones and Noah Igbinoghene are on the smaller end.
