Four of the best golfers in the world will represent LIV Golf and the PGA Tour in "The Showdown."

Rory McIlroy and Scottie Scheffler of the PGA Tour will go head-to-head with Bryson DeChambeau and Brooks Koepka of LIV Golf on Tuesday. McIlroy believes the new golf competition is a great opportunity to "bring the best of both tours together in a match that people could get behind and get excited about it."

"It was really about us saying we're going to take this into our own hands a little bit, and we're going to do something outside either tour, not to give something back to the fans but to ... let them know that we're trying to provide entertainment, that the players want to play together more often," McIlroy said.

Will LIV Golf or the PGA Tour walk away with bragging rights in this battle of golf superstars?
