The Los Angeles Dodgers have the luxury of seeing Shohei Ohtani in their jersey every night. While Ohtani has not yet pitched for the Dodgers, he is the only true two-way player in baseball. The Jacksonville Jaguars recently drafted Travis Hunter, football's version of the two-way player.

Hunter plays both receiver and cornerback. In his final year at the University of Colorado, he played 1,280 snaps. He logged 670 on offense and 686 on defense. He finished the season with the Heisman Trophy and 1,258 receiving yards, 15 receiving touchdowns, four interceptions, 36 tackles, 11 passes defended and a forced fumble.

Hunter is expected to play on both sides of the ball in the NFL as well, prompting many fans to wonder if he is more impressive than Ohtani. Milwaukee Brewers superstar Christian Yelich gave his thoughts during an appearance on "Pardon My Take."

"No," Yelich answered when asked whether Hunter is more impressive than Ohtani.

Hunter won the Heisman Trophy and the Chuck Bednarick Award, given to the best defensive player in college football. However, Yelich thinks what Ohtani is going is completely different.

"What Travis Hunter does is pretty impressive, too, playing both sides of a football game, but Shohei is definitely one of the best pitchers in the game when he's pitching and he might be the best hitter when he's hitting," Yelich explained. "That combo, and then he's one of the fastest players too, so he can really do everything the best."

While Hunter is a great corner and receiver, Yelich thinks that Ohtani can do both aspects of his sport at an elite level, making him more impressive. Ohtani is a three-time MVP Award winner and four-time All-Star. He is the only member of the 50-home run and 50-stolen base club.

He has a 3.01 career ERA and has received Cy Young Award votes as well. He finished fourth in the American League Cy Young Award race in 2022. He has led his respective league in home runs twice as well. Yelich himself has an MVP Award, so he knows what it takes to be the best player in baseball.
