Angel Reese has got Hailey Van Lith's back, and Hailey Van Lith has got Angel Reese's back.

That much has been clear as the Chicago Sky kicked off their training camp over the weekend. Van Lith, of course, finds herself in the same situation Reese did last year, which is...being a rookie. Naturally, there are a lot of adjustments that come with jumping from college to the pros, and Reese is going to be there to support Van Lith every step of the way. "I know a lot of the pressure is probably on her from the outside," she told reporters.

"You know, I know how it is just being the big name coming to town, expected to do big things, and I was just telling her, like, 'Stay calm. Stay poised," she added, noting that she considers herself something of a big sister to HVL. "Just being able to be here for her in this moment, because last year was tough for me, because I didn't have a lot of vets. So, just being that 'big sister', I guess, kinda, to her is super important for her."

It's also clear that Van Lith feels the same way about Reese, telling reporters, "One thing about Angel a lot of people don’t give her credit for is… she does have a selfless leader mindset. She’s went out of her way to make sure that my mindset is right, my energy is right, that I’m comfortable."

We can't wait to see these two in action for the 2025 WNBA season.
