Are Angel Reese and Wendell Carter Jr. dating? Why internet believes WNBA star is in relationship with Magic center image

Angel Reese and Wendell Carter Jr. are two of the top power forwards on the planet. Maybe they're meant to be together?

The Internet is certainly considering the possibility that Reese and Carter are dating. The rumors aren't new, and they're only going to pick up with Reese choosing to attend Game 1 of the Magic-Celtics playoff series in Boston.

Reese has been at other Magic games, as well, leading to plenty of sleuthing on message boards and social media.

Here's what we know, and don't know, about Reese and Carter.

Are Angel Reese and Wendell Carter Jr. dating?

There's a bit of contention on this topic among Magic fans.

Some are very confident that Reese and Carter are dating.

Others have suggested that Reese may be dating Paolo Banchero.

Carter used to date former UConn star Olivia Nelson-Ododa, so that complicates matters, although there's no recent evidence that that relationship is still intact.

Social media posters have also suggested Carter plays better when Reese is in attendance. We'll see if that holds true in the playoffs.

Maybe we'll get a better clue if one of the Magic forwards starts attending Chicago Sky games.

If Carter pulls up in a Sky jersey, that'd be as good as a confirmation.

But for now, the basketball world is left wondering.

Hailey Van Lith's Magic dating connection

Angel Reese and Hailey Van Lith played together at LSU.

They'll be rejoining forces in the WNBA.

And HVL already has a seemingly confirmed NBA relationship. She's dating Orlando Magic guard Jalen Suggs, a teammate of Carter's.

If Reese confirms a relationship with one of the Magic stars at some point, Angel and HVL could hang out courtside all next season at Magic games.
