Georgia Amoore injury update

Amoore suffered a right ACL injury, the Mystics announced Wednesday. The team has not disclosed the severity of the injury.

Within the official news release, Washington said that, "Amoore and the team will examine treatment and rehabilitation options and provide an update as appropriate." Further testing will likely determine the specific designation of Amoore's injury and will have an impact on the treatment and rehabilitation plan.

If Amoore's injury is season-ending, the team could not place her on a suspended list because she was hurt with the Mystics, per Richard Cohen of Her Hoop Stats.

This means Amoore would count toward Washington's 12-player roster limit, even if she is physically unable to perform.
