28-year-old Olympic legend Simone Biles is the most decorated gymnast in history and one of the most influential female athletes of all time. She is admired by people all over the world, particularly young women. However, despite all these things, Biles is not unaffected by negative stigma or the judgment and assumptions of others.
On Monday, April 28, Biles turned to Instagram to share a story about a shocking Uber experience she had just had. Her driver, apparently unaware of who she was, was disrespectful to her throughout the drive. However, when he pulled up to her lavish neighborhood, he was quick to change his tune. He left her with a disparaging comment that was insulting enough for her to give him a zero-star rating.
"Not my Uber driver yelling at me, but when he sees my neighborhood, he starts 'complimenting how nice the houses are.' & when he drops me off, he said 'I'm so happy you live here and not in those scary places,” Biles wrote, recalling the incident on her Instagram story.
“Literally 0 stars for you buddy,” she wrote.
Biles’ home is certainly nothing to scoff at. She and her NFL husband, Jonathan Owens, own a Houston mansion that has an estimated value of around $3 million. They worked on updating the home for over two years and officially moved in in January of 2025.
