Jorbit Vivas might not be a name that New York Yankees fans have heard before.
It's time to get familiar.
The Yankees called up Vivas from Triple-A on Monday in anticipation of Jazz Chisholm serving a one-game suspension.
He's worth knowing.
Vivas, 24, is a left-handed hitting, right-handed throwing, 5-foot-9 Venezuelan.
This season so far, he's hitting a ridiculous .343 in Triple-A. That includes five doubles, two homers and 14 RBI, along with 10 walks compared to just four strikeouts.

If Vivas gets into a game, it'll be his MLB debut.
Vivas spent the first six seasons of his professional career in the Dodgers organization.
He joined the Yankees system for 2024, and spent 93 games at Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, batting only .225.
But this season, Vivas has caught fire, and it's earned him a feel-good call-up to the majors.
If he gets a chance, he may just deliver, because a locked-in hitter is a locked-in hitter no matter the size of the ballpark.
A clutch Rivas moment in pinstripes would definitely be pretty cool.
