The divisional-round battle between the Bills and the Ravens speaks for itself. The contest features the two MVP frontrunners in Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson, going head-to-head for just the second time in the postseason.
Not only is a spot in the 2025 AFC Championship up for grabs, but the record for most playoff rushing yards by a quarterback is as well.
The pair of mobile stars currently sit in first and second on the all-time list for QB rushing yards in the postseason. With their efforts in the wild-card round, both Allen and Jackson passed Steve Young on the leaderboard.
Now, the duo get the chance to duel it out in Buffalo, showcasing their passing ability, as well as their gift for picking up yards with their legs.

NFL QB playoff rushing yards record
There are only two quarterbacks in NFL history with more than 600 rushing yards in the postseason — Allen and Jackson.
Allen went into the divisional round with the record over Jackson for most rushing yards out of a quarterback in the postseason. However, it was a very slight edge, with the Bills QB seven yards ahead of his Ravens counterpart.
It's worth noting that Allen has played four more playoff games than Jackson, meaning that the Baltimore QB is averaging more rushing yards per playoff game than the face of the Bills.
Allen only had 20 yards in the divisional round, but had two touchdowns. Jackson had 39 rushing yards so he did surpass Allen in the all-time rankings. Allen, however, got the win so will advance and stay alive in the playoffs. Next week he will have the chance to not only punch his first ticket to the Super Bowl, but also re-taking the record from Jackson who was eliminated this year.

How fast is Lamar Jackson?
Jackson is among the fastest players in the NFL and already one of the fastest quarterbacks in NFL history. When the Ravens quarterback gets into the open field, he can fly.
In college, Jackson unofficially ran a 4.34 40 time at Louisville's "Speed Day." It was almost identical to Michael Vick's 4.33 dash, which is the fastest 40-yard dash in NFL combine history.
His explosiveness was on display on Christmas Day this past season when he took off for a 48-yard run against the Texans. He hit a top speed of 21.25 mph, the fastest speed of his career in the NFL.

How fast is Josh Allen?
Allen may be best known for his rocket arm, but he can get it done with his legs as well. The Bills QB posted a 4.76 40-yard dash at the 2018 NFL Combine. While that's not among the lite rushing speed for a quarterback, it is for someone of his size and arm talent.
The Buffalo QB hit 20.31 mph on a 10-yard run during the 2023 NFL season, the fastest time of his career.
