The Sporting News 2024-25 High School Boys Basketball All-America Team is comprised of three teams, plus a Player of the Year. First team, second team, and third team each consist of five players. Congratulations to all of the student-athletes who were selected!
Player of the Year: Cameron Boozer, F, Columbus, 6-10 – Sr. (Duke)

There wasn't much drama in the Player of the Year race this season with the nation's No. 3 senior recruit putting up huge numbers for the national champion. Cameron Boozer goes down as one of the more decorated high school players ever by closing his career with 22.1 points, 11.8 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 1.9 steals, and 1.5 blocks per game for the 30-3 Explorers. To boot, he shot 61% overall, 67% on twos, 47% from three with 59 makes, and 81% from the free throw line.
Despite playing an otherworldly schedule, Boozer was as consistent as they come, scoring 11 points in all 33 games, 15 points in 30 games and 20 points 23 times. He also cracked 10 rebounds in all but four games, and his production as a facilitator and defender was equally unwavering.
Sporting News Boys Basketball All-America First Team
Brayden Burries, G, Roosevelt, 6-4 – Sr. (Arizona)

The 5-star combo guard and recent Arizona commit posted one of the best seasons California has seen in recent years among players at CIF-accredited programs. Burries led Roosevelt to Open Division titles at both the CIF-Southern Section and state level with 29.7 points, 8.8 rebounds, 3.4 assists, and 2.9 steals per game shooting 56% from the field, 35% from three, and 84% from the free throw line. In the state championship, an 80-60 rout of Archbishop Riordan, Burries shattered the Open Division state finals record of 35 points with 44 points on 15-22 shooting to go with 12 rebounds, three blocks, two assists, and two steals.
Darryn Peterson, G, Prolific Prep, 6-5 – Sr. (Kansas)

Peterson is ranked No. 1 in the Class of 2025 by 247Sports, and he sure looked the part as a senior for The Crew. He averaged 30.5 points, 7.0 assists, 6.5 rebounds, and 2.5 steals per game on 48/41/84 shooting splits as Prolific Prep went 35-6 and finished the season widely ranked top-five in the country.
AJ Dybantsa, F, Utah Prep, 6-9 – Sr. (BYU)

Ranked No. 1 in his class by ESPN, Dybantsa was phenomenal for nationally-ranked Utah Prep against one of the nation's hardest schedules. He went for 28.6 points, 9.5 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game while leading his team to wins over many national contenders, and was also named The Grind Session's Defensive Player of the Year.
Koa Peat, F, Perry, 6-8 – Sr. (Arizona)

A broken hand in the playoffs wasn't enough to stop Peat and his Pumas from going four for four in winning state championships during his high school career. The 5-star combo forward averaged 18.7 points, 10.3 rebounds, and 5.1 assists per game as Perry went 27-2 as one of the nation's top-ranked teams.
Caleb Wilson, F, Holy Innocents' Episcopal, 6-9 – Sr. (North Carolina)

The 5-star power forward truly did it all to lead Holy Innocents' to national relevance and its first state title, including 33 points and 13 rebounds on 14-22 in the championship. Wilson led the Golden Bears in all five base stats with 21.6 points, 11.1 rebounds, 5.0 assists, 3.5 blocks, and 2.1 steals a game on 57% shooting. He shot 64% from inside the arc and proved himself as a legitimate floor-spacer as well with 40 three-pointers at a 34% clip.
Sporting News All-America Second Team
Darius Acuff Jr., G, IMG Academy, 6-2 – Sr. (Arkansas)

Ranked by some as the top point guard in the Class of 2025, Acuff managed 23.7 points and 5.0 assists per game against one of the country's toughest schedules for perennial national contender IMG Academy.
Mikel Brown Jr., G, DME Academy, 6-3 – Sr. (Louisville)

Brown carried a heavy load for one of the nation's stronger teams against an elite schedule, averaging 27.1 points, 5.6 rebounds, 5.1 assists, and 2.1 steals per game. As complete a point guard as they com, he's ranked as high as sixth in the country by 247Sports and eighth by ESPN.
Kingston Flemings, G, Brennan, 6-3 – Sr. (Houston)

One of the most uncontainable off-the-dribble playmakers in the country, the 5-star Houston signee led Brennan to the state semifinals and a season-end top-25 national ranking with 20.4 points, 6.8 assists, 6.4 rebounds, and 2.9 steals per game. Flemings shot 61% overall and 74% from two – astounding marks for a 6-foot-3 guard – in addition to shooting 84% from the charity stripe and 33% from downtown.
Nate Ament, F, Highland, 6-9 – Sr. (Tennessee)

Ament averaged 18.9 points, 10 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 1.2 blocks – and played much bigger than his counting stats would suggest – on his way to guiding Highland to a VISAA D1 state title and the national radar. He's ranked fourth in the Class of 2025 by 247Sports and ESPN.
Malachi Moreno, C, Great Crossing, 7-0 – Sr. (Kentucky)

Simply put, the top center in high school basketball. Moreno led nationally-ranked Great Crossing to its first state title and a No. 1 finish in Kentucky with 21.8 points, 14.9 rebounds, 3.4 assists, and 3.5 blocks per game on a staggering 72% FG. In their 71-61 state finals win over Bowling Green, the 5-star future Wildcat totaled 21 points and 16 rebounds on 9-11 shooting.
Sporting News All-America Third Team
Cayden Boozer, G, Columbus, 6-3 – Sr. (Duke)

The floor general for the national champion and one half of high school basketball's most dynamic duo, Boozer averaged 14.3 points and 7.2 assists on 61% FG, 45% 3FG, and 86% FT. He was Columbus' top player at Chipotle Nationals, where he averaged 20 points, 5.0 assists, and 1.7 steals a game shooting on 59/55/100 shooting splits.
Braylon Mullins, G, Greenfield-Central, 6-5 – Sr. (UConn)

An offensive force like few in high school basketball for one of Indiana's top teams. Mullins led the Cougars to a 23-4 record averaging 32.9 points, 7.6 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 3.7 steals, and 1.1 blocks with 88 made threes on 65/48/88 shooting splits – and no, that's not a typo. In Greenfield-Central's four losses he was still unstoppable, averaging 33.8 points, 8.3 rebounds, 4.8 assists, 2.7 steals, and 1.0 blocks on above 50% shooting against the state's top teams.
Tyran Stokes, F, Notre Dame (Sherman Oaks), 6-7 – Jr.

The top-ranked player in the Class of 2026 is the only non-senior to make this list. Stokes navigated one of the nation's toughest schedules to power Notre Dame to the CIF-SS Open Division finals and regional finals/state semifinals. He averaged 21 points, 9.3 rebounds, 3.9 assists, and 1.5 steals in consistent fashion while shooting 54% from the field and bringing his A-game for most key matchups.

Ward lifted Largo to its second consecutive Maryland state championship posting 29.8 points, 11.6 rebounds, 4.2 assists, and 2.6 blocks per game shooting 66% from the floor. The Lions lost just two games (not including a forfeit) against nationally-ranked competition and Ward was still excellent, averaging 19 points, 9.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 2.0 blocks on 60.7% shooting.
Tounde Yessoufou, F, St. Joseph, 6-6 – Sr. (Baylor)

California's all-time leading scorer (3,659 career points) and a 5-star recruit. Yessoufou led St. Joseph to a CIF-Central Section title and national top 25 ranking putting up 28.1 points, 8.3 rebounds, 3.4 steals, 2.7 assists, and 1.1 blocks per game shooting 56% from the floor. He went off for 38 points and 10 rebounds on 15-27 shooting in the Knights' season-ending 66-64 state playoff loss to Notre Dame (Sherman Oaks).
