Carlos Alcaraz will look to lay down the marker early in the clay season as he takes on Lorenzo Musetti in the Monte-Carlo Masters final on Sunday.

The 21-year-old battled defeated fellow Spaniard Alejandro Davidovich Fokina 7-6 (2), 6-4 in Saturday's semifinal to reach the summit clash at Monte-Carlo for the first time. Alcaraz, the French Open champion, has not won a Masters 1000 title on clay outside of Madrid yet.

Musetti also reached his maiden Masters 1000 final, as he earned  hard-fought 1-6, 6-4, 7-6 (4) win over Alex de Minaur. This was the tenth top-10 win for the Italian.

The 2025 Monte-Carlo Open main draw began on Monday, April 7. The tournament runs through Sunday, April 13 – culminating with the men's singles final.
