The Ohio State Buckeyes have a lot of key players heading off to the 2025 NFL Draft, but none of them have been expected to be a top-five pick. Could that change with just 10 days left before the first round begins?

Among the Ohio State players who will be drafted at some point in the draft are TreVeyon Henderson, Quinshon Judkins, Josh Simmons, Jack Sawyer, Emeka Egbuka, Will Howard, J.T. Tuimoloau, and Donovan Smith. There are plenty of other names who are on the overall list as well.

In a new shocking prediction, one Buckeyes' star was taken as a top-five selection.

Doug Farrar of Athlon Sports has projected offensive tackle Josh Simmons to end up being the No. 4 overall pick by the New England Patriots.

"Had Ohio State's Josh Simmons not suffered a torn patellar tendon last October, I don't think anybody would blink an eye at his selection with the fourth overall pick," Farrar wrote. "He's a plug-and-play guy at left tackle both as a run- and pass-blocker, which means a lot in a class where a lot of the 2025 tackle prospects are facing future guard questions."

Standing in at 6-foot-5 and just a shade over 310 pounds, Simmons has great size and elite athleticism. He has the talent and potential to be one of the top offensive tackles in the NFL in a few years.

Landing with the Patriots would make a ton of sense. New England needs more protection for young franchise quarterback Drake Maye. Bringing in a young elite talent is a no-brainer decision.

That being said, Simmons has not been the lineman that most have been prediction the Patriots to take. Both Will Campbell and Armand Membou have been the trendy predictions.

It will be interesting to see where Simmons ends up going. He has the talent to be a top-five pick, but Ohio State fans will just have to wait and see what happens when the first round starts up on April 24.
