Heading into the first round, there was one series that, above all others, looked all but predestined to go to seven games.

Call it circumstance. Call it divine intervention. But the Clippers and Nuggets shaped up to be as evenly-matched a duel as there was in the world of hoops.

After six games, plenty of impressive shot-making, and physicality galore, Los Angeles and Denver find themselves in that all-important Game 7 clash. It's unclear who has the advantage ahead of the final matchup.

On one hand, the Clippers are laden with All-Star talent. Kawhi Leonard and James Harden are two of basketball's finest-ever ballers, but Ivica Zubac and Norman Powell earned serious award consideration during the 2024-25 season. Couple that with standout role players Nicolas Batum, Derrick Jones Jr., Kris Dunn, and Bogdan Bogdanovic, and it's easy to see why Los Angeles captured 50 wins in the regular season.

Yet, the Clippers don't have the best player in the series. That title belongs to Nikola Jokic, the three-time NBA MVP who has, unsurprisingly, authored up an amalgam of masterpieces in this year's playoffs. They don't have Jamal Murray, either, one of basketball's most-feared playoff matchups.

So, who wins out? The team with the most points, of course, but who will that be once the dust settles from Denver's Bell Arena? Only time will tell.
