BC vs. FSU betting analysis & picks

Florida State's stunning 24-21 loss to Georgia Tech in CFB Week 0 doesn't mean the Seminoles have no hope to make the 12-team College Football Playoff. TSN's Bill Benders writes, "Every team in the Power 4 gets a mulligan, and this means the Seminoles have little margin for error left to get to the ACC championship game. That is a sobering thought in Week 0 for the preseason favorite to win the conference, but there are more than enough chances to get back in the race."

In his CFB Week 1 picks, Bender believes this will be a get-right game for FSU. He writes, "The Seminoles should have more down-field opportunities with DJ Uiagalelei in this game, especially if Hykeem Williams returns. This spread looks high considering the Eagles lost 31-29 last season in a game where quarterback Thomas Castellanos had 305 passing yards and 95 rushing yards."

Expect the Seminoles to get the bounce-back victory, but lean toward the Eagles and the points on the spread.

Pick: Florida State wins 34-20 but FAILS TO COVER the spread in a game that goes OVER
