Fans of the Los Angeles Chargers are just hours away from finding out which player the team will take with its first-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. There has been tons and of speculation about plenty of different players and soon, we will find out which one has their name called on Thursday night.
The draft kicks off at 5:00 pm PT and can be seen live on either ESPN or NFL Network. This year's event will be held at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, home of the Packers.
For fans who may not want to watch from start to finish or are just curious as to when the Chargers will make their pick, we will look to narrow down a tight window for you here.
The draft will likely kick off with a welcome and some quick analysis from the broadcast team followed by a welcoming from NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell. The Tennessee Titans have the No. 1 overall pick and will go on the clock right after Goodell speaks.
Taking into consideration that each team can take up to 10 minutes to make their first selection (and most teams take almost all of that time), the Chargers should go on the clock at just about 8:00 pm Pacific Standard Time. In order to make sure you see the pick made as it happens, you may want to tune in at about 7:45, but it should occur within that 15-minute window.
This is of course barring any trades the Chargers may make that would either move them up or down and perhaps even out of the first round. Make sure to have some sort of NFL alerts set on your phone so that you are notified of that happening, in the event you aren't tuned into the draft at that time.
