The Los Angeles Lakers season is now officially over.

On Wednesday night, the Minnesota Timberwolves got the win in Game 5, 103-96, to win the series four games to one.

It was not the result Lakers fans were hoping for, especially after they ended the season with the No. 3 seed in the Western Conference and home-court advantage for the first round.

Yet, here we are. The LeBron James-Luka Doncic duo got knocked out in the first round in their playoff debut together, and it wasn't a pretty sight, either.

After the loss, the Lakers got trolled by Mark Williams, the Charlotte Hornets big man who was traded to LA only to see the trade be rescinded due to issues with his physical.

To make the loss sting more, the Lakers got a stray from an expected source: The In-N-Out Burger X account.

"The Lakers were In-N-Out of the playoffs. In-N-Out will be open until 1:00AM for sad Laker fans."

In-N-Out, a very popular burger chain in California and other states, wasted no time trolling the Lakers for the quick playoff exit. The post came just after the final buzzer sounded, so it seems the intern of the account was ready to fire it off at any moment.

Job well done, for the In-N-Out X account handler, that is.
