The 2024 Masters is almost here, and golf's biggest event brings out the best in top-rated sportsbooks.
Starting next week, you'll see many more betting markets available compared to your average PGA Tour event. For now, let's focus on Masters odds and some early betting picks ahead of next Thursday's opening tee shot at Augusta National.
Our goal is always trying to identify players that offer value down the odds board. We're not interested in betting Scottie Scheffler at even though he's the hottest player in golf.
Scheffler won his first Masters in 2022 at odds of +1600 before Jon Rahm captured the first green jacket of his career at +1000 last year. Will we see another chalky winner this time around?
Let's hope not as our betting card features players at longer odds to win.

Odds to win 2024 Masters
Check out live odds on the best golf betting apps for the 2024 Masters:
Tiger Woods played a recent practice round at Augusta and the five-time Masters winner is expected to be in the field. Wait until next week to bet on Woods ... to make or miss the cut. DraftKings has Tiger at +13000 to win The Masters.
Six players who can win the Masters at longer odds
Our list of longer shots begins with a player who captured his first career major in last year's US Open.
Wyndham Clark
At +6000, Clark was among those on our betting card to win last year's Wells Fargo Championship in Charlotte. He did just that and then followed up that first PGA Tour win with a US Open victory at +8000.
Aside from Scheffler, nobody's been playing better than Clark this season. He won at Pebble Beach in February before finishing second to Scheffler at the Arnold Palmer Invitational and Players Championship in back-to-back weeks.
There is some concern about Clark's back after a recent workout injury, but he played through it in Houston last week and finished T-31. He's worth a toss at this price.
Tony Finau
With NC sports betting apps now live, it's been big fun taking advantage of the industry's best bonuses and promos as a resident of South Carolina. The first golf bet of the year came on Finau to record a top-10 finish in last week's Houston Open. The big man finished T-2 to cash a nice ticket at ESPN Bet.
You're obviously looking for someone in good form, and we saw a pair of first-time major winners last year in Clark and Brian Harman. It's time for Finau to break through after coming oh so close in recent years.
Finau has a top-five in every major tournament with a best finish of T-5 in the 2019 Masters. If you recall, someone named Tiger won that year. Overall, Finau's competed in 30 majors and amassed 10 top-10 finishes.
Jason Day
The affable Aussie enjoyed a career renaissance last year. Day won his first tournament dating back five years at the AT&T Byron Nelson.
Day has three top-10s on this young season including a best finish of T-6 at Pebble Beach. He's also got a solid track record at Augusta with four top-10s and a runnerup finish back in 2011.
Brian Harman
Harman reminds us of another little lefty -- Mike Weir -- who walked away with the Masters win back in 2003.
After winning last year's Open Championship (aka British Open), the former Georgia Bulldog nearly scored another milestone win in last month's Players Championship. He finished T-2 and one stroke behind Scheffler.
Patrick Reed
The only LIV player on our list, Reed checks in at longer odds than usual. He's coming off his best finish (fourth) of the season last month in Macau. Reed, of course, won the Masters in 2018.
LIV golf is so far off my radar, and major tournaments are that much more anticipated with all of the world's best players competing against each other. It's hard to forget how LIV players showed up in force at Augusta last year, too. Reed finished T-4, two spots in back of runnerups Brooks Koepka and Phil Mickelson.
Corey Conners
Hot damn, that's a big number for a player who's registered three top-10s in his four appearances in the Masters. Conners will be a popular pick to win this week's Valero Texas Open, which he's previously won on two occasions.
If he performs well again in Texas, these odds could be shaved significantly. Bet the smooth-swinging Canadian now and grab that value.
