The Golden State Warriors earned a hard-fought Game 7 win over the Houston Rockets on Sunday night, with the final score settling in at 103-89. A big reason for the victory was Buddy Hield, who exploded for 33 points to guide the Warriors past the Rockets. Even with this big game, though, he still got trolled by Jimmy Butler.
Throughout the Warriors series with the Rockets, Butler drew attention for constantly trolling Hield when talking to the media. It was clearly being done in jest, but Butler didn't change his tune after Hield hit nine three-pointers in Game 7 to power Golden State's lethargic offense to the second round of the playoffs.
Butler "pleaded the fifth" when asked about Hield immediately after the game, but he saved his best troll for social media. With Stephen Curry and Butler forming a Batman-Robin duo, Hield tried to join the crew earlier in the series as Alfred (Batman's butler), but he was shot down by Butler.
After Game 7, Butler photoshopped a picture of Hield's face over a clip of a cartoon version of Alfred pretending to be Batman. After a crowd of people, including Butler and Draymond Green, don't buy it, a photoshopped version of Curry as Batman comes in and tells him to drop the act.
The vibes are high surrounding the Warriors right now, and it's not hard to see why after their big Game 7 win. They will now turn their attention to their second-round matchup against the Minnesota Timberwolves, with Game 1 set to take place on Tuesday, April 6 at 9:30 p.m. ET.
