The NFL playoff race may soon be coming down to the wire as the season moves past Week 12, but the competition for the No. 1 selection in the 2025 NFL Draft is as well.
As losses pile up for some squads, the likelihood they claim a top-10 selection in April's draft is increasing. With most of the favored teams winning in their Week 11 matchups, the draft order didn't see any major shakeups; losses helped the Jaguars, Titans and Raiders hold onto top draft spots.
However, with the Browns beating the Steelers to open Week 12 on "Thursday Night Football," they moved down in the potential top 10, claiming their third win. There remains a tightly contested race for the No. 1 pick brewing, though.
Jacksonville retained the top pick in the draft despite being on bye, but both the Giants and Raiders lost, giving all three an identical 2-9 record. The Patriots and Panthers both lost, remaining in the top-5.
On Sunday, the Titans joined the Browns as one of the teams that moved down the draft order. Tennessee pulled off an upset over the Texans. The win pushed the Titans to 3-8 on the season.
With Week 12 now in the rearview mirror, here's a look at where the NFL Draft order stands so far this season.

April's draft is expected to be loaded with talent, with two of the biggest names set to come out of Colorado: two-way star Travis Hunter and quarterback Shedeur Sanders.
Hunter, who plays both wide receiver and cornerback, is currently one of the leaders in the 2024 Heisman Trophy race, while Sanders has thrown for 3,222 passing yards and 27 touchdowns through 10 games this season.
For NFL teams looking for their next franchise quarterback, Miami's Cam Ward and Alabama's Jalen Milroe are among the expected top selections.
Defensively, a trio of Big Ten players will likely headline the 2025 draft class: Michigan's Mason Graham and Will Johnson, plus Penn State's Abdul Carter. All three play different positions but are among the top defensive prospects.
Some of college football's other top stars, like Boise State RB Ashton Jeanty and Tennessee EDGE James Pearce Jr., are expected to be called early in the 2025 NFL Draft.
