Houston, we have a problem. The 2025 Gold Cup final is headed your way for the first time. And if there's one thing about Texas, it's going to be bigger than ever.

The Gold Cup helps kick off a year of soccer in North America. Playing alongside the Club World Cup, the biggest sporting event in the world follows a year later with the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will be held around the U.S., Canada and Mexico.

Until then, 15 Concacaf squads, along with Saudi Arabia, have a chance to stun on future World Cup turf. But only one can win. Last time around, Mexico took home the win, their ninth ever. But only three teams have won the tournament, seven victories going to the USA and just one to Canada.

Can Mexico repeat as Gold Cup champions? Or can someone stun in Houston for their first title?
