College football's rivalry weekend is here, and it kicks off Friday night with a meeting between the hedges as Georgia hosts Georgia Tech.
The campuses located just 70 miles apart, this matchup is full of some clean, old-fashioned hate, even if its always played the weekend of Thanksgiving.

But for Georgia, this final homestand isn't about bragging rights for records. The team has clinched a spot in the conference title game, meaning their CFP hopes shine brightly. While a win in Atlanta would guarantee Georgia a spot in the playoffs, a loss could also do more harm than good. For now, the Dawgs need to stay strong against the Yellow Jackets and prepare for the week ahead.
