Ciara and Russell Wilson got a little rest and relaxation in while cheering on the New York Knicks for their playoff home opener Saturday afternoon.
Also taking son Future Zahir with them, it was certainly an entertaining matchup as Cameron Payne and Jalen Brunson led the Knicks to a comeback victory against the Detroit Pistons 123-112 at Madison Square Garden to take a 1-0 lead in their best-of-seven series. The family kept things casual for the outing, with Ciara and Future both wearing New York Yankees ball caps, and Wilson sporting a grey and black ball cap of his own.
Ciara paired her cap with a grey t-shirt, brown khakis and a pair of Nike Air Force 1s for comfy-but-stylish look. Their son, Future, sported a Nike Camo hoodie, which he paired with black shorts and the Air Jordan 4 'Wet Cement' PEs. Meanwhile, Wilson donned a dark blue shirt with black jeans alongside a pair of the blue and white Court Inspired sneakers from his Good Man Brand clothing line.

Aside from seeing a thrilling game and dancing on the jumbo cam, the family also got the opportunity to meet New York Knicks legend Patrick Ewing. In other Wilson family news, Ciara recently chatted with L'Officiel magazine earlier this month where she spoke a bit about her upcoming new album "CiCi," which is set to release on July 11.
"With this project, I want to say thank you to my fans. I’ve been doing things independently, running my own label, and it has not been the easiest journey by far," she told the publication, adding, "There are some amazing moments [on the album]—I’ve always wanted to work with Tyga; the way he rides the beat is so special."
"Jazze Pha produced a song for me, and we hadn’t done a song together since my second album. And then, to have Latto join us, it’s super A-Town love. There’s a bit of a nostalgic undertone that does happen throughout, and also meeting where I am now."
