Olivia "Livvy" Dunne is saying goodbye to gymnastics.
The 22-year-old gymnast and social media influencer announced her retirement from the LSU Lady Tigers on April 18. On Monday, Dunne shared an emotional farewell video on Instagram documenting her decades-long tumbling career.
"Thank you gymnastics❤️," Dunne captioned the post.
Dunne filmed herself sitting in a theater watching the farewell video play on a projector.
The LSU star had a hard time holding back the tears while watching the tribute, which showcased her more than 20-year gymnastics career.
"Time flies when you’re having fun. Something said that when you’re enjoying yourself to the point time seems to slip away from you, and that’s exactly how the past 20 years in this sport have felt," Dunne said. "Every risk was worth the reward."
In one clip during the video, an elementary-aged Dunne completes an entry-level bar routine with her hair tied in pigtails.
Even at a young age, the collegiate athlete looked polished as she completed several rotations on the bars.
Dunne said she's forever grateful for her time at LSU.
"Gymnastics, you have filled my heart and will always be a part of me. You've shaped me into the person I am today, creating memories and sisterhoods that will last a lifetime beyond the sport," Dunne continued. "You were my first love."
What will Olivia Dunne do after she retires from gymnastics?

Dunne, who's a native of Hillsdale, New Jersey, will have plenty of things to keep her busy now that her gymnastics career is over.
In the comments section of a TikTok video shared on April 20, Dunne revealed that she's continuing her college career despite saying goodbye to gymnastics.
"I'm in grad school," Dunne wrote.
She's also one of the highest-paid female collegiate athletes of all time, with her endorsement portfolio already sitting at upwards of $4 million.
Dunne boasts more than five million followers on social media and continues to secure more sponsorships.
She also has her boyfriend, Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Paul Skenes, to keep her busy.
The couple met as student-athletes in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
They started dating in the summer of 2023, and Dunne frequently supports Skenes at games.
