The Jacksonville Jaguars made the first blockbuster trade of the 2025 NFL Draft. They moved up from No. 5 to No. 2 in a trade with the Cleveland Browns and took Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter.

The Jaguars now get a wide receiver and cornerback, which is a rare breed for today's game. The decision to trade up earned them a huge grade, so it's a promising sign with the new-look regime in Jacksonville.

A clip surfaced of Hunter from 2022 when he was with Jackson State and did a walkthrough at the Jaguars stadium.

"Hopefully I get drafted here one day because you know they gonna have a top pick."

To go even further, in December, Hunter and Shedeur Sanders answered questions about each other. One question from Hunter to Sanders was "Who is my favorite NFL team?" Sanders answered, "Jaguars."

On Thursday night after he was drafted, Hunter spoke to Kay Adams and said he even searched up houses in Jacksonville on Zillow on Wednesday night.

Hunter was originally committed to Florida State before he flipped to Jackson State to play for Deion Sanders. He left for Colorado when Sanders went to Boulder, and now he returns to Florida in a whirlwind story. All in all, Hunter really manifested this destination even dating back to 2022. Now, his dreams become a reality.
