For the second straight year, the Philadelphia Eagles have used their first three selections on defense in the NFL Draft.

Philly’s fourth-round pick, No.111 overall, is a Howie Roseman special. The Eagles selected towering 6-foot-5, 288-pound defensive tackle Ty Robinson, an intriguing prospect who posted 42 total pressures and seven sacks as an interior rusher for Nebraska last season.

Robinson became well-known during the pre-draft process for his pet camel, who he took in to help his former neighbor. He’s a serious prospect, though, and should help fill the void left by Milton Williams thanks to his solid all-around athletic testing that included an elite 40 time of 4.83 seconds for his size.

The Eagles traded back twice in the third round, leaving Day 2 of the draft with just one selection (Texas safety Andrew Mukuba). They likely loved the value with Robinson near the top of Round 4. Robinson’s an older prospect, as he’s 23 and spent five years at Nebraska. His production was also limited outside of his breakout 2024 campaign.

Robinson joins a defensive line group in Philly that also includes Jalen Carter, Jordan Davis, Moro Ojomo, Thomas Booker IV. He should get on well with former Husker Cam Jurgens, Philly’s new franchise center known for a viral pre-draft video of him blocking a bull.
