The week of the NFL draft has finally arrived!!
The All-Star games, combine, pro days, and constant speculation on this upcoming weekend will be behind us when it commences on Thursday night. By this time next week, rosters across the league will be filled up with rookies who can potentially make an impact in the 2025 season.
The Indianapolis Colts enter Thursday night with some glaring needs on the roster, which include a pass-catching tight end, a linebacker, an offensive lineman who could start at right guard, and overall depth for the team.
Over the last three weeks, we have taken a look at how the draft could go for the Colts if they took Tyler Warren, Armand Membou, and Jihaad Campbell with their first-round pick.
For this last one, we stick with a popular position mocked in the first round for Indianapolis, but a different name this time around.

Colts mock draft predictions
Round 1, Pick 14: TE Colston Loveland, Michigan
With Tyler Warren off the board, the Colts still land a tight end that can make an impact in Year 1. He can be utilized in a variety of ways within the offense. He can create space with his route-running ability, but also has the size and catching ability to win contested situations.
Round 2, Pick 45: LB Carson Schwesinger, UCLA
If Schwesinger is on the board at No. 45, then it should be an easy selection because of how much of an upgrade he would bring to the linebacker room with this coverage and tackling ability. Chris Ballard may have to trade up to land him, though; there is buzz that he could find himself in the first round.
Round 3, Pick 80: OG Tate Ratledge, Georgia
Indianapolis lands its potential starting right guard with its third selection. Ratledge brings some toughness to the offensive line, which can help improve the rushing attack. He’s a three-year starter, so his experience can help him win the starting job.
Round 4, Pick 117: DE Ashton Gillotte, Louisville
The pick of Gillotte provides the Colts with some depth in their edge group for this season and beyond. He’s a power rusher who can help collapse the pocket and can slide inside in sub-rush packages during his rookie season.
Round 5, Pick 151: S R.J. Mickens, Clemson
The Indy defense lands some quality safety depth with the selection of Mickens. He’s a versatile safety who can play deep, in the box, and the slot. He’s capable of making an impact on special teams as a rookie and can be the third safety on the depth chart.
Round 6, Pick 189: DT Cam’Ron Jackson, Florida
After landing some depth on the edge, the Colts pick Jackson to potentially be their backup to Grover Stewart at the one-tech spot. He’s a massive defensive tackle who can provide value on the first two downs and in goal-line situations.
Round 7, Pick 232: DT Jared Harrison-Hunte, SMU
Indianapolis goes with back-to-back selections with interior defensive linemen. Harrison-Hunte can provide depth to DeForest Buckner at the three-tech spot and could carve out a spot in the rotation with his pass-rushing ability.
