The day has arrived, and the NFL Draft is only hours away. The Tennessee Titans hold the first pick, and barring any last-minute changes, Cam Ward will be joining their roster come September. The Titans were undoubtedly the worst team in football last year, and by selecting Ward, they will be moving on from Will Levis.
After the Titans, it remains unclear whether the New York Giants or the Cleveland Browns will select Travis Hunter. This uncertainty leaves the door wide open for another team to swoop in, but whoever chooses Hunter will need to allow him to play on both sides of the ball. If this condition is not met, Hunter has made his stance clear.
“It’s never playing football again,” Hunter said. “Because I’ve been doing it my whole life, and I love being on the football field. I feel like I could dominate on each side of the ball, so I really enjoy doing it.”
Hunter received some great news just a day before the draft: his father will be able to attend. His dad missed his Heisman moment when Hunter won the award, but on the biggest night of Hunter’s life, his father will be there to witness it.
However, a potential surprise contender for Hunter is the Dallas Cowboys. While Dallas is linked to several wide receivers, a move for Hunter could be in the works if Marcus Spears has his way.
“If I’m Dallas, I’m trying to figure out whatever I can do to get up to Travis Hunter,” Spears said.

The Cowboys certainly need to make some moves after last season. Adding Hunter would provide another dynamic weapon alongside CeeDee Lamb. Together, they could form one of the most formidable tandems in the NFL. While it’s still uncertain where Hunter will land, if it’s with America’s Team, he’ll have no problem with it.
