Nottingham Forest have reportedly set their sights on Chelsea star Renato Veiga as a summer transfer option with the Blues potentially open to a sale in the region of £30m [$40m].
According to GiveMeSport, Forest has been scouting Veiga since the start of 2025 as they look for potential defensive reinforcements for the 2025/26 campaign.
Veiga is currently on loan at Juventus, with the 21-year-old impressing in Turin, via his versatility to cover at centre-back, left-back and defensive midfield.
Despite reports that Enzo Maresca is a fan of Veiga, the Portuguese international may be available in the upcoming window.
Veiga has made 29 combined appearances in total for Chelsea and Juventus this season with two goals scored.
His parent club now face a key decision over whether to bring him back to Stamford Bridge to make a sale to raise key transfer funds.

Why Chelsea should think twice before selling Renato Veiga
Veiga joined the Blues just last summer as part of a seven-year contract with the club, before being sent to Juventus on loan in January, for the rest of the 2024/25 season.
He was sent to Italy to gain valuable first-team experience in the hope that he would return and find a place in the Chelsea starting XI.
Veiga is on a long list of Chelsea players who have been handed long-term contracts, before being loaned out, and his future looks uncertain ahead of key talks with Maresca in June.

If the Blues sell Veiga after just one year, it sends out the wrong message to every player who is out on loan, and hoping to find a way into Maresca's plans in 2025.
