With their Game 5 elimination at the hands of the Indiana Pacers, the Milwaukee Bucks’ season is now over. Last night marked the third straight year the Bucks have been eliminated in the first round, which could mean the Giannis Antetokounmpo era is over.

If it comes to that, Milwaukee has to think about who has the best offer for the Greek Freak. Former NBA player Chandler Parsons suggested that one team in particular has an appealing package for Antetokounmpo: Parsons’ first NBA team, the Houston Rockets.

“What team can he go (to) where he can actually win? I know people say the Nets, but why would he want to go to the Nets? They are not in great shape... There’s teams like the Rockets who have a lot of assets. He can go to the Rockets, someone like that. Golden State, I don’t think has enough,” Parsons said on “Run It Back.”

The Rockets made it to the No. 2 seed in the Western Conference, though they too are in danger of elimination, being down 3-1 against the Golden State Warriors. Houston has plenty of assets to dangle for Antetokounmpo, particularly the draft picks Phoenix now owes them after the Rockets got involved in the Mikal Bridges trade last year.

If the two sides can reach a deal, Antetokounmpo could be the Rockets’ next face of the franchise. This would give the Bucks some new hope, which they are clearly out of at this point.

Parsons played for the Rockets from 2011 to 2014 and played the rest of his career with the Dallas Mavericks, Memphis Grizzlies, and Atlanta Hawks until 2020.
