The Los Angeles Chargers added an explosive player to their offense in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft, taking North Carolina running back Omarion Hampton. The selection has drawn solid reviews.
The team now sets its sights on Friday night's second and third rounds. The Chargers could use help at several spots but adding a defensive lineman and a play-making tight end should be high on the list of priorities. Keeping that kind mind, I used the mock draft simulator provided by Pro Football Focus to conduct this quick two-round mock.
Keeping in mind the players already chosen in round one, here is what the Chargers were able to come up with.

Round 2, Pick No. 55: T.J. Sanders, DT, South Carolina
T.J. Sanders played all over the line in college, lining up at defensive end and nose guard. He is an impressive run defender, strong at the point of attack and he offers some skill as a pass-rusher. His 9.5 sacks at South Carolina are evidence of that.
He has a big frame at 6-foot-4 and about 300 pounds and would give the defense an immediate upgrade on the defensive line, an area that might be the team's biggest concern going into round two.
Round 3, Pick No. 86: Terrance Ferguson, TE, Oregon
The Chargers have their blocking tight ends, now it's time to add one who can offer something more as a receiver. Terrance Ferguson is that player.

Ferguson is a fluid athlete with great ball-tracking skills who should be an immediate threat as an option in the red zone. The Chargers were deciding between Ferguson and Elijah Arroyo with this choice and deciding on the Oregon product to catch passes from the former Oregon quarterback.
