Ben Affleck was Tom Brady's teammate once.

Well, sort of.

The latest guest on the “New Heights” podcast hosted by Travis and Jason Kelce, the actor shared a funny story about the time he got to run routes with Tom Brady.

“How many completions did you get, and how many routes were you running?” asked Jason, getting straight into it.

“I don’t know if they have a name,” answered Affleck. “But I’m sure I disgraced every receiver that’s ever run a route,” he continued. “To this day, aside from the birth of my children, that was the greatest day of my life.”

Wow, Tom Brady, you’re responsible for giving Ben Affleck the second greatest day of his life… that’s a pretty big feat. And that’s not all either.

“He was like, ‘I need somebody to play catch with.' I happened to be on vacation at the same place with him—I don’t know how much I was helping him. I think he was like, ‘I’m going to f—cking blow this dude’s mind… I’m gonna blow him up.

“The greatest moment of that experience is when he was like ‘OK, come here,’ and he’s like ‘this is the Super Bowl…fourth quarter, we’ve got 23 seconds, it’s 4th & 18’… and it was amazing!” 

Ahh…the imaginary scenario all-time greats create to get themselves amped up. The comment section was equally entertaining as well.

“I always say my favorite thing about Taylor and Travis dating is my introduction to Jason Kelce. Now my second favorite thing is this story from Ben Affleck,” wrote one commenter.
