David Beckham’s 50th birthday was never going to be a low-key affair and sure enough, it turned into a days-long bash with a guest list of A-listers — and a little attention from local authorities.
The celebration kicked off midweek with an intimate gathering at the Beckhams’ sprawling Cotswolds estate, where close family toasted the global icon’s milestone. From there, the party caravan moved to France, where David indulged in one of his great passions —wine, with a trip to his favorite vineyard. But the centerpiece of the festivities came Saturday night in London, at the Michelin-starred Core by Clare Smyth.
Inside the luxurious Kensington restaurant, Beckham was joined by Hollywood royalty and longtime friends including Tom Cruise, Eva Longoria, Gordon Ramsay, Guy Ritchie, and former Manchester United teammate Gary Neville. The champagne flowed and music blasted until the early hours — so much so that local authorities were called to the scene at around 3:30 a.m. after noise complaints. One neighbor told The Sun, “David’s party really went off … the music just kept going.”
But as soon as officials showed up, the volume dropped. No drama, just diplomacy — Beckham-style.
While the guest list was stacked with stars, one absence raised eyebrows. David’s eldest son Brooklyn, 25, and daughter-in-law Nicola Peltz, 30, were noticeably missing from every leg of the celebrations, according to an exclusive report by the Daily Mail.
Still, Victoria Beckham remained in high spirits, sharing a heartfelt Instagram post filled with glamorous snapshots and writing, “Creating special memories with family and friends. We love you all.”
