Legendary NFL coach Bill Belichick recently sat down for an interview for CBS Sunday Morning with journalist Tony Dokoupil. The interview, which aired Sunday, April 27, covered topics such as his record-breaking career, the success of quarterback Tom Brady, and Belichick’s first book, The Art of Winning: Lessons from My Life in Football. The book is scheduled to be released on May 6, 2025.

However, things started to get a little awkward when Dokoupil began to ask 72-year-old Belichick about his relationship with his girlfriend, 24-year-old former cheerleader Jordon Hudson.

Before Belichick could respond, Hudson quickly interjected, leading to a moment so uncomfortable that it had even Barstool Sports owner Dave Portnoy “squirming in his seat.”

During the interview, Dokoupil asked Belichick about how he and Hudson had met. Immediately, Hudson spoke up, saying, “We’re not talking about this.” Dokoupil turned to her and asked, “No?”

“No,” she repeated, leaving no room for further discussion.

“My Sunday morning routine is always coffee and CBS Sunday Morning. It’s a feel good show. The opposite of controversial.  So image [sic] my surprise this morning when they had the most awkward Bill Belichick interview I’ve ever seen.  Like I was squirming in my seat,” he wrote

Dokoupil quickly pushed by the uncomfortable moment by saying, “It’s a topic neither one of them is comfortable commenting on.”
